Fern the Dog needs a home

"Fern"--female/spayed--chiweenie--3 yrs old

Fern has an interesting story, she is a tiny girl about 7 pounds and was really a challenge to rescue for being such a little thing. She was actually found abandoned at a water treatment plant in a rural area and was so scared it took her rescuers hours to catch her. She also had a huge laceration that stretched across her entire back. Fern was taken to the vet immediately after being rescued and they did surgery to repair her back. She healed fast and seems to not realize anything ever happened to her. In her foster home she has bonded to her foster mom and really loves to cuddle up and loves to sleep in the bed. She is good with other dogs and cats and loves kids. Fern is good in the car and just wants to be a part of a family of her very own.
